Account Information (When You Sign In)

When you create an account through Apple Sign In, we collect:

• Your name (provided by Apple)
• Apple user identifier (for account management)
• Account creation date

Scan History Data (For Signed-In Users)

When you use our barcode scanning feature while signed in, we store:

• Barcode numbers of scanned products
• Product names and information
• Halal verification results
• Scan timestamps
• Product ingredients and certification status

Product Scanning Data (For Guest Users)

When you use our barcode scanning feature without signing in:

• Barcode numbers for product verification (not stored)
• Product information retrieved from public databases
• No personal information is linked to scanned products
• No scan history is stored on our servers

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect minimal technical information:

• Device type and operating system version (for compatibility)

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

Barcode verification may involve querying international product databases. All data transfers use encrypted connections and involve only non-personal barcode information.

Third-Party Services

Our app may query third-party product databases for barcode verification. We only send barcode numbers (not personal information) to these services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services.
